Nutritional advice and exercise plans from untrained professionals!

Stop the press, working amongst us are a number of untrained professionals trying to make a quick buck.

If you are looking for a personal trainer or nutritionist, make sure they hold the relevant qualification, PLEASE!

Because someone might have an idea, read a few blogs, follow a few industry leaders on Instagram, train themselves and they think that makes them an expert. HELLO, WRONG!

And unfortunately the fitness industry isn’t regulated like plumbers and electricians. So anyone can pretend they know what they’re doing and take your money. Just be mindful as this is your body and you want to make sure you are putting the right wheels in motion to get sustainable results.

Some might claim you you can eat whatever you want and you won’t get fat, “no calorie counting” well if you are not measuring your input against output. Or measuring what you are putting into your body, you will get fat, simple!

Or if you use cardio/HITT sessions as your go-to exercise, I guarantee as soon as you stop the plan, guess what, you GAIN WEIGHT!!

It’s really simple measure your input against your output, consistently being in a calorie deficit and you will loose weight.

While you are exercising its VERY important to build muscle because you need muscle to burn fat.

Yes you can burn fat doing cardio but you burn muscle too, therefore to ensure you are maintaining your body shape you need to workout ladies, and that means lifting weights! And don’t worry you won’t end up looking like the incredible hulk because women don’t have testosterone (well none that promote muscle building in the same way that the male hormone has).

This will leave your body thanking you, not only because you know exactly what your body needs fuel wise (therefore no more calories counting is needed) but you also know the amount of exercise you need to sustain to maintain your weight after using a personal trainer.

Bye bye to yo yo dieting and quick fixes with ‘professionals’ who are actually yo yo’ing themselves. From diet to diet. And exercise to exercise because they haven’t quite figured out what works. Or simply eating too much regularly. And guess what GAINING WEIGHT THEMSELVES!
