My first fitness blog about why I am doing this

Let’s start with the reason I have always been into my fitness – well it’s simple – it makes me feel good. Personally and professionally I have always struggled with my confidence – yet you probably wouldn’t believe it with my bubbly and charismatic persona – I am in fact very shy and insecure.

Therefore, exercising has always made me feel good and got rid of those horrible demands. I have never officially been diagnosed with depression or anxiety but I am sure it’s in all of us somewhere. My medication is the gym.

Another one of my favourite medicines is food because when I eat well, I instantly feel better. It took me a long time to realise that my love for food wasn’t a negative thing because food is fuel and not my enemy.

And when it came to my body image and weight loss, my patience has been very limited in the past, I expected weight to drop off instantly after a 5k run, how wrong could I have been? And with some crash diets, results are easily achievable but not sustainable leaving you back to your original weight after starving yourself for however long.

My mission now is to help people to eat healthier and get fitter and stronger in the gym and with my help and guidance and your motivation anything is possible. The perfect figure or physique is attainable.
